Solariums, also known as tanning salons or sunbed facilities, are establishments where individuals can artificially tan their skin by exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation emitted by tanning beds or sunbeds. These devices emit UV radiation, predominantly UVA and UVB rays, which mimic the sunlight’s effects on the skin.
